2008 Halloween Costumes

Anyone have any interesting ideas for Halloween? Dressing up at all? Doing anything fun?

At work we usually dress up and award "certificates" for Best Costume, Best Group, Etc. but I haven't any good ideas yet.

Well this year I'm in charge or toting the nieces and nephews around trick or treating. And I'm not one to sit in the car while everyone else stocks up on candy, so I'm dressing up. So I've decided to bring my dog because, well why not. And hes going to be a bee (hes all black, it works out) so I figured I'd be a bee too, unfortunately, I'm not black but it'll work out anyway) So the rest of the lot decided to dress up as bees. So we'll be a van load of bees trick or treating this year.

At the clinic I work at you have to dress up for Halloween. I was going to go as Eric Cartman. I had my aunt make me a beanie like his last winter so all I need is the red sweater and brown pants (some yellow gloves would be a nice touch too). I didn't work there last year but the winner of the contest was a girl who dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Why does it seem as though when someone dresses as her, they always win?!

One year I was a gumball machine - a large clear plastic bag put around me from neck to waist. Then I filled it up with smaller colored balloons. Then I asked people to give me chocolate coins.

This year I might go as a Half-Orc warrior/beserker type character.
any excuse to wear armour and weapons in public. :D

I'm in college and need to go out with a bang. About 10 friends of mine and I will be in all black with staff written on our backs. One of us will have a nice camera on our shoulders and we'll be handing out t-shirts that say something like "girls gone wild." We can't figure out a name that won't infringe on copyrights, but when we do we'll be set. It should be a good night for us with a video tape full of memories.

Haha, thanks, but I already have his costume bought and fitted. The problem was finding an adult costume locally that isn't... well slutty. So I've actually changed to being a bee keeper.

My girlfriends and I are dressing up as Gwen Stefani and her Harajuku girls. We picked straws on who was going to die their hair platinum blonde. Thankfully I get to keep it Asian.

Some of the our guy friends are dressing up as "____ in a box" guys from SNL, some hookers, and one as a shower a la Karate Kid.

Easy to do, just find the aviators, a cigarette holder and hawaiin shirt. I am going to Vegas myself and find this to be a great idea. I also picked up a name badge to avoid all the "WHo are you?!?!"
