When I try to put my headphones into the headphone jack, it doesn't work.
The headphones don't go in all the way, like there is something in there. I don't see how something could have gotten in there..
It worked when I bought it, but now it doesn't. A couple days before it happened the sound quality in the headphones got really bad/static.
Is it possible something broke inside the jack? Anyone else had this problem? Will Apple replace my phone?

cant hurt to call or take it in...

did you physically look into the headphone jack with a flashlight? there might be dust or garbage in there.

Sometimes that first or second use of the headset jack can require a bit more force than first perceived. Mine was like that, and I just made sure that I used a bit more pressure and it went in all the way... If not resolved, then take it back to Apple and get a replacement. 😱
