PowerBook Duo 2300c

I just got a PB Duo 2300c for $20 at a Goodwill, the battery is dead but it powers up fine with the AC.

Anyway I notice that it doesn't have any optical ports, I want to put Oregon Trail and some other abandonware games on it but don't quite know how.

Can someone help me out?

Wow - great find. The 2300c is a pretty highly sought out Duo. Unfortunately without a dock, you're limited to the Appletalk (serial) and modem ports. You could use Appletalk to network the duo to another older Mac (such as your IIvx), and transfer the data that way. It's not fast, but it's reliable and it works.

Trouble is, if you don't already have the cables, you're better off just going to eBay and grabbing a dock for it. Get one with ethernet built in.

You'll need a dock of some sort with ethernet. There are many different sizes and shapes of docks.
