Time capsule (500gb) hangs every two days

I got the 500 GB time capsule since June this year. Recently, I encounter problems with the network. Every one or two days, TC hangs and I lose the network (both wireless as well as through the ethernet cable). In one occassion, my imac did not recognize TC anymore. The only way to get TC working again, is by disconnecting power cable.

Any suggestions what the cause of this problem is?

I had similar problem with my Linksys router. I've solved it by assigning IP addresses for each computer. I don't have a Time Capsule but look for DHCP in menu.
