Any way to enable this like Kate does? Kate is a piece of crap on 2.1 that constantly resprings, so I am looking for a better way to have this enabled.

Do it manually in photoshop :)

reflective dock does it automatically with any icon... no thanks.

Its very easy in Photoshop but I'm sure you can find the png on MacThemes.com.

I made my Winterboard theme in Photoshop and added the dock reflection to the actual icon images. I can move the icons around in the dock and the reflections move with them.

With Photoshop you can do not only simple reflections, but reflections with faded gaussian blur for a nice DOF effect. ;)
