Hi guys..
I installed NES from CYDIA.
got a few games , connected with iphone using WINSCP.
Placed the ROM files , in /var/mobile/media .
when I ran NES from the phone , it said , place files in /var/mobile/media/ROMs/NES.
I made these folders and then installed all file games in the last NES directory.
Then started NES and it brings me to the ALL games page but there are no games in it !
please help
thanks

....Placed the ROM files , in /var/mobile/media.
There's your problem. They're not supposed to go straight into the media folder. Within the media folder, you're supposed to create a folder titled, "ROMs." Within that folder, you're supposed to created another folder called, "NES."
That's where they go.

I'm not familiar with that extension. Are they zipped, or shrunken down with some other software? Maybe you need to unzip them first?
Try changing the extensions to .nes, and see if that helps.

.smc files are Super NES roms not NES. You have the wrong roms. Also, be sure that your folders are named correctly as they ARE case sensitive. I have NES (as well as a few others) and they work well.
Changing the extention to "nes" will not work nor do they need to be unzipped. Again, you need .nes roms not .smc for NES emulator.

I thought it was funny that the thread title said, "SNES." I thought it was just a typo. :)

Are you kidding me? Did you take the time to read my post that said .smc files are NOT for NES? That changing the extension to .nes will NOT work? Why ask for advice and then not take it?
