Hello,
I have a Mac Mini G4 that didn't come with built in wireless. It's always been hard wired. Now I need it to be wireless, but where can I get the software that will allow me to search for available wireless networks like if I had to plug in a usb adapter and search? The little pie piece that sits on top right of my screen how do I get that. I have it on all my other macs but those have wireless built in.

So you're saying you plugged in a USB wireless adapter, but the wireless menu didn't appear in the menu bar? That probably means OS X doesn't support the USB adapter you have, because the "wireless software" you're referring to is built into OS X, you don't need to install anything. Which USB adapter are you using?

From Everymac.com AirPort Extreme (802.11b/802.11g) and Bluetooth were optional upgrades at the time of purchase for the original configuration. Configurations introduced July 26, 2005 (M9687LL/B and M9971LL/B) shipped with AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth pre-installed.
