Watching FIOS TV on Mac

I am looking to watch live TV on my home office Mac Pro. I am confused in regards to how it all ties together. Here are a few details;


i have verizon fios tv
i dont want to run extra cables from a fios box ( if possible)
i have 2 monitors connected to the Mac Pro
i am not to interested in dvr functionality - just live tv

what are my options for porting tv from any of my verizon boxes to the office and watch it on one of the monitors ? SlingBoxHD, EYETV....? what connections do i need to make? Thanks

If your FIOS feed is encrypted digital, you'll have to do all the channel switching from the FIOS box, otherwise you could just split the signal going into the box and run it direct to the tuner.
