Projector won't work with mbp???

I'm using a Proxima projector, the x350 to be exact. I have plugged it into my mbp with the adapter and all. My computer recognizes the projector and i can change the resolution and all but the projector won't actually connect to the computer. I'm using leopard. please Please PLEASE any help will be appreciated. i feel as if i've tried everything possible :confused: if you know what that's like. Thanks in advance.

I believe so. It has 2.4 ghz with the intel core 2 duo. I bought it march of this year.

I believe so. It has 2.4 ghz with the intel core 2 duo. I bought it march of this year.There's a chance it might not work at all. I remember a problem with Santa Rosa MacBook Pro's and projector/projection systems turning up on my mailing lists.

Apple says it was resolved with a firmware update back in the Spring.
