id have to go for the hip hop one, but none of the adds were really great in my opinion.

I picked Rockstar the techno one. Not because of the music though. It's the only one that DOESN'T mention Mac at all. I think it was released with iTunes for windows, and it says "Now for Windows". I think it's really important that this commercial does not try to push Mac, just Apple (and only the logo at that).
Consumers can be lead to new choices by advertising, they hate to be bullied.

I picked Rockstar - what can I say, I like the tune and I love the dancing in it more than the other ads.

What about a "they all sucked" option?

How about a "they were great but we need to move on now" option?
The latest is definitely the worst--getting too far from the simplicity that made them good commercials.

My son (not quite 2 and a half years old) just loves all of them. He saw our shadows on the wall yesterday, pointed, and yelled, "Oh! Daddy, look!" Then he proceeded to sing Hey Mama and dance around. He loves those ads. Too bad he's not in Apple's target market.

P.S. I picked the JET one, though, 'cause that CD absolutely rocks.

I voted for ad spot 4, not sure why but I like that on the best.
Or maybe I'm too tired to think...

I don't really like any of them, but I can see why they have their appeal.

i voted for "hey mama". i think it was the first of its kind.
i think Apple did the others just not to alienate other music lovers, who like other types of music.
if Apple brought out the "jet" one then i might've voted for that one

I voted for that only because of the music.
Those ads are good, but I agree with wordmunger, time to move on.

Wow, the results of this poll and the comments surprise me!
I love the ad campaign, and I picked the least popular one to date: channel surfing.
I think the ad style is quite unique.
Hehe, but maybe the iPodded 20th anniversary ad should also be put on the pole :-)

I want to vote for the original iPod ad in 2001.

I liked the Jet music the most, but visually, Chanel Surfing won me over. I love that blue, there needs to be more of it in the other adds.

I like all of them it is very hard to choos just one. Just can't get enough of the dancers.

The one where John Elway visits Bon Jovi's house and an Arena Football game breaks out.
And the one with the color backgrounds & energetic music.

I think it is interesting that the poll results currently show that the ads are ranked in order of their appearance for popularity. Perhaps people really are beginning to get tired of this style of ad.

The one I kinda liked was the Steve Ballmer parody one.

Geez, the cynics around here. How could you not like these ads? Catchy music in all four, clever hook, simple... I'm all about them. Especially "Channel Surfing." That song is hot. I wish it was in the iTMS.

Gotta be the N.E.R.D. - Rock Star (Remix) one.
In the first few seconds, the jumping "green" shadow princess has a graduate cap on (a personal positive for me, since I look up to individuals with a dedication towards going to class/college/etc.), the shadow figures are depicted with more variation (that's a plus, think about it), and the song is more modern-rock based. The Rock Star commercial has more energy, more enthusiasm, a bit more variation, and a lot more "in your face" than the other ones.

Yah, the Rockstar one is my favorite too. I'm not too sure about the whole grad cap though - are you sure about that one? Are you sure it isn't just some type of funky hat? Guess I'll have to wtach it again and pay closer attention. :)
I agree with the majority of the posters though, this style of commercial has had its time, and it's time to move on now...

Hey Mama! I still have that song stuck in my brain. The novelty of that first ad also added to the effect.

I have grown to dislike them all, the first one was neat, but that entire silhuette thing got boring after a while
