My recycle bin just dissapeared :/ it shows the recycle bin wording, but the icon isn't there anymore, and when I click on it it takes me to the recycle bin. but theres no icon! I'll try to post a screenshot.

Google Windows XP Powertoys, download, install. On the left hand side of the program look for Repair & Rebuild Icons. 😱
right click on desktop - personalize - change desktop icon - then turn on the check for recycle bin
Well cool! Should you have problems with other icons in Windows, try my method. It will clear the cache and rebuild the icon database.
You just want somebody to download that powertoys thing don't you? lol. is it a virus-infested thing that'll kill my windows and make me have to go buy a Mac? lol, I'm already thinking of buying OS-X and dual-booting Vista with it.(other way around?)

Try the suggested powertoy above. If that doesn't work try rearranging your icons. Also you might want to create a new account and see if it has the same problem.
