Can i play AoE II without the disks on my macbook?

I understand I can use disk utility so that i do not need to insert a CD to play a game, and it only works on some games..

so can Age of Empires II work this way?
 
why not just try it, and then let us know? wouldn't that make a lot more sense than just asking random questions on a forum, then waiting for someone to reply?
