Two quick Colorware questions

For anyone who has used Colorware for their iPhone:

1. Will my data be wiped when it gets returned or does it come back just as I sent it in?

2. Should I be concerned about leaving data on the phone (email, songs, phone numbers, etc.) when I send it in? Or should I erase it all first?

I would email Colorware TBH.
 
why dont' you use passcode lock your device?
Back it up of course...

Far as i am aware from what little i know, they only touch the external so no. Backup in case something bad happens though!
