Rainbow Apple at Login! [Archive]

Just thought I would share this with people.

All you need to do is replace "applelogo.tif" with THIS (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?migwz4yiiyr)./System/Library/CoreServices/SecurityAgentPlugins/loginwindow.bundle/Contents/Resources
(open a finder window and hit CMD+SHFT+G and paste the path in)
make sure to backup the original

If you want to make your own Login Screen Logo, just make sure the file is a 90px by 90px .tif file with the name applelogo.tif.

Sorry, put the wrong file path in. Edited the first post with correct path and how to get there easily.

BootXChanger (http://namedfork.net/bootxchanger/) will change the apple logo on boot up. Thats the one I changed to the Rainbow Apple logo.

I really wish Apple had stayed with the original logo - I loved the little embedded coulour apples on my monitors and desktops :(

Thanks - added to my rainbow boot logo - now I have only to make some little embossed ones to stick on everything .....

Pretty sure that I used Onyx...but I have had it like that for so long I can't remember.
