It's out. For $3.
Looks pretty cool, and it's got a built in level editor! Here's the feature list:
Fast 3D graphics
Intuitive controls - use the built-in accelerometer to fly across the terrain.
Original Cube Runner game included and new Time Trial mode.
Internal level editor - create and test your own levels from within the game.
Internal Object editor - no longer are you confined to just cubes - and each level can have up to 26 different objects. You can also customise your ship!
Stackable blocks - no longer are you limited to single blocks, now create bridges, tunnels, walls, etc
Email your created levels for others to play.
Download levels created by others.

I really liked the first Cube Runner, especially as it was free. I'll probably check this out soon, although hopefully the tilting isn't as weird as Super Monkey Ball when that first came out.

i'll wait for someone else to buy it first before i consider it. i'm not sure it's worth $3 when you can get basically the exact same game/enjoyment out of the free version.

I've just bought it as I enjoyed the free version. Although the actual game remains the same (that's not a bad thing at all) the level editor is worth the cash alone. I am currently making a course out of little trees!

I bought it immediatly, just then ran off to school. It's pretty cool, the time trial is a nice addition. The levels also have some cool features, like stackable pieces. YOu can even edit the objects, including the ship! The object editer is a little complicated, but after a bit of messing around you should get used to it. You don't need to create new objects if you don't want. The level editor is simple, just tap to place a piece!

Are all objects you create the type that have to be avoided? Or can you create ramps. Maybe objects you bump off of instead of instantly destroyed?

oh yes definatly, I made a fantastic course out of trees with multiple paths. Only problem is I made so hard I can't finish it!

How about some of you that are creating levels post some screen shots of said levels?

The above is a nice demonstration of stacking blocks, below is a tree example i whipped together in under two minutes.

Ok so just to add, heres some screens from my first Time Trial level 'Canyon' (Easy Difficulty) from my cube runner third party pack 'Super Anti Grav 3000'.
I should point out that the only problem i have run into is that some times some of the blocks can randomly disappear allowing you to escape the course!
Apart from that it was very easy to set up. Now all i need to do is finish the second level 'Forest' (Medium Difficulty), third level 'Suburbs' (Medium Difficulty) and invent a fourth and final hard difficulty level. Oh and get some sleep!
The name 'Super Anti Grav 3000' pays homage to all those crazy named racing titles from the past. I had to shorten it from 'Super Extreme Anti Gravity Death Racing 3000' because it would not fit properly on the screen!
I have tried to add as many multiple paths as possible to the course but my main one suffers from the missing blocks problem so it had be cordoned off as seen below in the 3rd screen if the racer went left. There are even hidden paths too as in the final picture in between the two sets of trees which allows you to bypass some of the harder parts of the courses but its very narrow.
Update: I hope to get this single level pack 'Canyon' out as soon as i fix my iphones silly email problem. So hopefully i can get people testing it.

If anyone would like to give 'Canyon' a whirl then the download link is
http://cuberun.org/SAG3000nCanyonn.txt
In cube runner 2 tap select level pack > tap add level pack >enter the above url and tap download. (Make sure you enter it exactly as you see above)
Its still in testing and all feedback is welcome.

you can make games on the computer with the first cube runner for free...
so for $3 you can make it on the phone and have trees along with blocks?

Yes, you can build your levels directly on the phone. It's very easy you have a scroll wheel of numbers which correspond to various objects such as trees, cubes and spheres then there is a bar of numbers at the top which correspond to the height so you can create stacks. You then just tap to place on the level grid and your away. You can have as many trees and blocks as you like together!
There are a few bugs I have found though, such as when you try to recolor the blocks ( I wanted a sandy brown for my canyon level ) the game just crashes it's the same for building new objects. The biggiet current gripe of mine is sometimes the blocks don't show at all allowing you to escape the course.
Overall it's brilliant fun but there are a few issues.

Hmmm, haven't come across that one and can't seem to replicate it. Could you let me know what you are doing and I'll get that fixed in the upcoming update?
Cheers

I loved the first one, the second one looks to be worth $3... I was just waiting for a level editor. As soon as I get some credit I'm buying it.

Hey All,
Just a quick update
I've been in discussion with AndyQ and it turns out that the missing cubes are not the result of a bug, but rather that i exceeded the maximum number allowed on screen at once (to preserve the games framerate).

I also have a few bugs to announce. Whenever i go into the ship editor and press save, the app just closes for me. ive reinstalled the app, and and restarted my phone, but that has not solved the problem. Even if i dont edit the ship and press save, it still closes. Another is sometimes when im editing or creating an object, and save a triangle, it deletes all of them that i have recently added since the last successful save. It can be very time consuming to redo those triangles. I am able to work around these bugs, but if they were solved, it would make the app so much better!
