HD TV Tuner Card for OTA HD TV Shows to ATV

Any thoughts welcome.
I am thinking of picking up a PCI HDTV tuner card card for my PC Server which serves up all the media to my :apple:TV. Recording TV Shows on the server with the tuner card to then sync/stream to the :apple:TV. Has anyone tried this here and have any insight/thoughts gotcha's etc. Would be great for the fall season since a lot of shows are starting new seasons broadcast in HD.

I have an Eye TV Hybrid and it integrates extremely well with iTunes, and thus Apple TV. Pretty much hands-off, other than scheduling.

What formats does it support for recording the HD?

It simply saves the HD stream, which is MPEG-2 here in the US. For iTunes export, it sends it out as an MPEG-4 H.264. There are a variety of options (QT, ATV, iPod, iPhone, etc) that you can select for export.
