So iDicto was lowered to free today, but also labeled as a trial. Even the icon in iTunes says trial on it. What's this mean!? Are they actually doing a real app store trial version?

No, Aqua Forest is just free. This says Trial Version (which could mean free... but).

I have tried it, it is actually the full version.
There's a sync button that works over a WebDAV client, which means you don't need another software if you mounted it properly.
It is also nice to see that the recordings have a time and date stamp on them, as well as the ability to sort them.
You cannot email (as far as I have tried) and overall the interface is beautiful, but it is choppy or not as smooth as you'd expect.
It is worth the $1 but there are so many of these apps floating around at the same price it's hard to say.
For me personally I am keeping Dictaphone (now named Record) for the friendly and fast interface, shake to record, email support, and great voice quality.

I'm about to use idicto to record a 2 hour lecture, will my iphone on a full charge survive this ordeal?
