HP Printer

Hi All

I am thinking of getting a HP Photosmart 7260 printer to use with 10.3

If any of you mac heads out there have one of these printer could you let me now what you think of them. :)

I've always been a fan of HP products, but I have also been hearing a lot of good things about Epson printers lately. Personally, I am really happy with the Epson C84 that I just got. (My HP Deskjet 3420 is OK, but really kills you on ink.....)

What kind of ink does the HP you are looking at use? Apperantly that is one of the major advantages of the Epsons, in that they use a different kind of pigment.....I don't know specifics, but I figured I would mention it anyway, in case someone else knows what I am talking about......I think its supposed to be more resistant to water and fading?

Good printer, only *minor* headache is that the drivers that come with it don't work with 10.3 but there is an updated driver on the website. Printed photos look great on that thing.

Consider the Canon i860. I've had the i850 for 13 months and have not any problems. Plus the photo prints are outstanding. You will save a ton of money on ink as the i860 has individual ink cartridges.
