starcraft online problems

alright so after i play a game on battle.net, click ok on the statistics list
the game just freezes or crashes or somesort. but my screen is completely black and theres nothing i could do. i tried hitting escape or command+Q but nothing works so i end up holding down my power button
is there a way to fix this? i dont want to have to force restart my macbook everytime i complete a game online cuz thats really inconvienent

While this isn't a solution, instead of powering off the Mac, try Option-Command-Escape to hopefully force-quit Starcraft.

Are you using the CDs (ie. you haven't copied the Data files off for the no-cd patch)? Have you tried a reinstall?
