I like it generally... you might gently alias the name ... it's pretty difficult to actually read.
Did you draw it in Photoshop? If so, would you post the PSD? That way we could play around with it and maybe try a few things out to see how they looked. 
For example, I think it would help to add some kind of glow or white-ish border to the text, just to help it stand out more, but I don't know for sure how that would look.
