$650 for a month old base Macbook?

What do you guys think? I know with Oct 14 coming up, the price on this can either jump or fall.

The macbook is minty and comes with everything pretty much. I am wondering if this is a good buy.

wait for the new ones. The baseline macbook might be $800 and offer a lot more.

yes, definitely a great price. I would regard that as a good buy, and not a price one could normally get.

However, ask for the serial number and do a check on the Apple website just to make sure everything is fine.

To, that's pretty close to a 'sounds too good to be true' deal, so I'd suggest caution.

I agree with the serial number check. Do this first.
Also, is this purchase from a trusted source? Do you know the history of the machine?
Does it come loaded with additional software? Check to see if the software comes with original install discs.
