Security Update Locked my iTunes Music Folder

Has anyone else noticed the recent Security Update has locked their iTunes Music folder (~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/)?

You can fix this yourself by control-clicking on the folder and going to get info, then re-adding yourself in the Permissons area. But why has this changed? Is it just my macs?
