iphone doest detect sim card

hey, irecently purcased an unlovked i phone to use with my tmobile carrier everything was working fine till i accidently updated the fimware and restored with itunes so i downgraded to 1.14 and downloaded ziphone software and was able to unlock it, but for some reason it doesnt detect my sim card, i read on thread somewhere to revirginize it but it sounds complicated, any ideas? help please!

I have exactly the same problem,. "accidently" updated the firmware on my previously working 1.1.4 phone, now restored to 1.1.4 & tried everything for about a week, ziphone 3.0, iliberty+ lost count how many times but still got flat signal bars & no carrier name when i put my sim in.- does anyone have a solution for this, so i can fix my expensive "pda/ipod"!

fixed it,. its to do with the baseband, get "ziphone patched" tick downgrade baseband & debug boot.
