Is there is a $900 Macbook, what kind of base specs do you expect?

I'd like to see them priced like PCs.
$900 means blu-ray, HDMI, integrated graphics on par with the AMD/ATI 3200, 3GB of RAM, etc. Or the equivalent of the GeForce 8600M GT 512MB instead of blu-ray.
$1299 should be 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo, blu-ray, 1680x1050 15.4" screen, 512MB GeForce 9600M GT, HDMI, etc.

that is the current specs of the $1300 model
i am hoping they will just do away with combo drives and just put in superdrive.
as for memory 2g is standard.
probley a 120-160g harddrive. nothing less the 120
i dunno about the 2.4 ghz intel core 2 duo however, all but the base model has them so they will probley bump that down to base

Mind fishing some links for me, then? I'm not an avid member of this forum, but I do know how to perform a search. Either the tool wasn't working properly or I input the wrong string of words.

The point is, nobody will know until tomorrow morning. Just go to sleep, wake up and then ask once the announcement is done.
Those specs are quite common in the PC world, even at big box stores like Best Buy and Fry's.

I only typed in "900" in a general forum search and got at least 4 threads on cheap MB's.
