Between all the people complaining about the death of FireWire and the death of matte screens, I hadn't even thought of this...

Yes, finally! Going from $1099 to $999 is pretty good when you consider that you had to spend $1299 in the past to get a SuperDrive.

well yes those both sucked to lose, i made a case for camcorders, but what i didnt think about were DJs that use audio equiptment that uses firewire, guess they are springing for the 15"mbp
