U unwinded macrumors regular Oct 14, 2008 #7 It has a higher bus speed, but the cache is the same. Some tasks might be better but most will be worse. It's probably irrelevant for everyday tasks because my wife's 2+ year-old 1.86 core duo is still reasonably fast.
