I need to purchase a Mac to enable me to develop some Flash games as well as dabbling with the iPhone development kit.
I already have a fairly new high spec PC with a 24 inch monitor so dont' really need to get a full on development machine as I can really only use one machine at a time.
I was therefore considering buying a Mac Mini and had been waiting until the announcements on Oct 14 to see if a new version was announced which it wasn't.
I have a budget of approx $1600 so would really appreciate some advice on what I should get. The advantage of the Mac Mini was I could use it to surf the web on my 32 inch LCD tv in the living room if I did not get many development jobs requiring a mac.
However I may fall in love with Macs and want to use it as my main development platform in whuch case an iMac may be better.
Any advice really appreciated.
