MacBook display

I know this is a stupid question but just got my new MacBook with the glossy display and it's nowhere near as colorful as my iMac. I know, it's a laptop, but is there something I can do to punch it up some?

Go into the Display settings under System Preferences and click the Color tab. Modify your Color LCD calibration profile by clicking Calibrate. Change the target gamma from 1.8 to 2.2.
