I am trying to get a sense of how a new MB or MBP would compare to a Lenovo laptop running Vista business with 3MB of RAM.
The CPU is a Core 2 Duo T7400 running at 2.16Mhz, and the video is a ATI Raedon X1400. I have no idea if the machine is using Intel on-board graphics.
I know that it's an apples to oranges (sorry, bad one) when comparing the cool factor, the OS and the system stability, but when you're shelling out as much jack as it takes to make the switch, you want to see some zip.
I tend to see the slowest response when opening file trees or doing searches.
