Hello.
I used to do some Electronics Engineering work years ago. I'll be setting up a lab in the basement for my son and I to noodle around with some stuff.

Does anyone know of a good site/forum for electronics engineering hobbyist type stuff. Macrumors is such a great site, I'm hoping to find something close to this for that genre.

Anywho, any advice or input would be appreciated.

Regards,

Try MAKE (http://www.makezine.com/), as they often feature interesting electronic projects and general inspiration.

To actually build things, try the sibling Arduino (http://arduino.cc/) & Wiring (http://www.wiring.org.co/) platforms. ;)

My favorite magazine (and website) is Circuit Cellar. They have been around for years and years. http://circuitcellar.com/

There is also a new social networking site in the works for electronics, I signed up the other day. http://solderbynumbers.com/
