Sudden Shutdowns

I've been having a problem recently with my IMac shutting down suddenly. It typically occurs while I'm on a web site. Is it possible this is due to a memory leak? Has anyone else had this problem?

Try repairing permissions in Disk Utility.

Also, reset the SMC (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1543).
