View Full Version : Is the LED screen in the Macbook the same as the one in the Air?

Questions in the title. The air LED is absolutely gorgeous. Does the new Macbook share the same screen, or is a different LED screen?

The MB I saw today looked a little punchier than the MBA. Could have been the environment, or they could be different.

The first MBA screen had "washed out" colors, so I sold it because the 64GB SSD was too small for me. The MB Alu LED screen is vastly superior to the first MBA's screen. I don't know how it compares to the latest model. :)

Really? Since I've posted this there have been comparisons showing the new MB screen has the same weak black levels and viewing angles as the old Macbook.

The (first) Air screen was far superior to the old Macbook so... ?
