So I have a pair of jeans that are starting to wear thin in a certain spot. Their not that old, and I like them, so I would like to prolong their life as much as I can. I bought some Singer Iron On patches at Target, and ironed one onto the inside of the jeans where they are wearing out to strengthen them in that spot, and all was good until..... I washed them. The patch fell off! I assume the dryer is to blame, but I did it on low heat. I don't want to hang them to dry because they turn into cardboard. Is there a particular brand/kind of iron on patches that I can get that will stick through washing/drying?

Im guessing maybe the "Low Heat" was my problem?
