hp 7150 on winxp, can I use it from my ibook?

I was wondering if I could use a HP 7150 photosmart printer that is attached (and is shared) from my winxp computer via my iBook.
When I goto add a printer and browse network printers, the printer does not show up. Do I have to install a driver first? Or is there something else I have to do?

i think you need to establish a network between iBook and the XP box, no?

can the iBook see the XP box?

yes, it can see the xp box, but it cannot see any printers attached.

there must be a setting within XP to make the printer shared on the network?

if you have a router/hub, could you connect the printer directly to it?

unfortunately I cannot direct connect this to the hub as it is a usb printer. It is "shared" in winxp.
