To those who own OCW Mercury Elite Pro, any ideas for a replacement fan?

Hello, just wondering if those who own the OWC Mercury Elite Pro have had any problems with the exhaust fan for the unit?

My warranty ran out a month ago, and the fan has started to make weird noises and on occasion would turn off and on intermittently. I was wondering wondering if anyone has had to replace the fans, or would know a good quality replacement fan for the unit, any help on this would greatly be appreciated.
 
Well I would suggest measuring the fan and checking out newegg.com as they have tons of small fans- I recently replaced one in a dual drive case with one from them.

Along the same lines though, have you first checked in with OWC customer service as to the availability of purchasing a replacement from them directly to insure you get the exact same part? Their customer service is outstanding and I feel certain they would do anything they could to help out- at least that has been my experience with them! 🙂
