import SDHC card through FW800 – which adapter?

Hello. I'm wanting to import data of 16GB SDHC cards into a MacBook Pro. I'm doing this for video, but I thought I'd post here because the photographers tend to know a lot about these cards. I'm considering both ExperssCard34 and FW800 options. I'll have a RAID hard drive hooked up to my ExperssCard34 port, though, and I'm afraid that frequent swapping of ExpressCard34 cards will wear on the port. Is this correct? Any suggestions for a FW800 adapter?
