Would I get the new one? Our local apple store don't have any, not even in the back O: It's a blackbook too. So mainly would I get the alluminum =D

Depends on what happened to it, who you talk to, and how good you are at persuasion.
 
not a chance. they have plenty of stock reserved just for these situations. and if not, they would order it.
 
If they aren't in Store stock, then likely a refurb would be on it's way. On rare occasions some have been bumped to a new series.
 
I've heard of people having their G4s replaced well after they have discontinued them. Maybe wait a little longer until they don't have any Blackbooks in stock?
 
How can it be so broken that they can't replace parts until it's fixed? If it's so broken that requires a lot of parts, how could that be a warranty issue and not use abuse?
