Got a link, or author? There must be 100 books with a similar title.

I've not found any books that I like but the introductory videos at Lynda.com are pretty good

If it's a Scott Kelby book, it's likely to be worth-while.

I have it and like it. Pretty good stuff. Scott Kelby is very easy to read and follow.

Here is a link to the book in question:

However I don't know if it is the best book for a photoshop beginner thou.

The book is indeed from Scott Kelby.
If this book isn't good for beginners, any suggestions?

You might want to look for some other books by scott kelby and his group from NAPP.

Start doing tutorials from the internet. There are plenty and they are free!!! Can't go wrong with that.

That book is fine for beginners. I've taught an introduction to digital photography course using that book.

I really like Martin Evening's books.

I got Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Photographers back when I was on that version of the suite. I would recommend the updated version for CS3 (http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Photoshop-CS3-Photographers-Professional/dp/0240520289).
