My wife's first Mac...new aluminum Macbook?

To those with the new aluminum Macbook: looks like the general feeling is that you're loving them, right? I have a 13" white Macbook and love it, but my wife is still using a PC laptop...but she's seriously considering making her first Mac the new Macbook (like "looking on eBay to see how much her computer is worth" serious). I keep sending her articles on the new ones, and we went to our local Apple store on Sunday to see them.

I think this would be a safe choice for her first Mac...your thoughts?

Both my parents got the MacBooks as their first Mac, and they love them. Although, my dad is eyeing the new ones. I think its a great idea.

It would be a safe choice to get it. The new one is much more durable, so it can last a little longer. The performance is great and I'm just loving it. Go for it.
