Hey so I worked for 3 hours on a project in FCE and it was sick. Something happened I forgot what exactly and the canvas window went red and told me to close it and re-open, So I closed it and then my timeline dissapeard and I shut off the programe without saving and when I reloaded it they were still missing and it says not found. As you can tell I am VERY :mad:angry:mad: and stressed! Any tips for me to have hope?

You worked for 3 hours, and didnt save?
You had FCE setup to NOT autosave for you?
Sounds like you learned a serious lesson. :(

When the clips come up missing, have you tried manually searching for them?

thats the wierd thing, I DID save like a minute before the incident, I ALWAYS save and when I exited the programe I made sure I didn't save and when I re-open the file the timeline bar and canvas are gone and when I go to window to re-open them they are all grey and I am unable to select them

Double click on your Sequence in the Browser. W/o a sequence open the timeline and Canvas window won't appear.
