could anyone help me with a problem i've been having with x-chat aqua (i have x-chat aqua 0.12.0)?
I use it mainly to check out #macrumors, once in a while some other channels on freenode, etc.
when the window opens i type in the usual "/server irc.krono.net" then i do a "/join #macrumors" and my pb freezes (not kernel panic, but like it refuses to respond, I can move around the mouse but everything's frozen, the cursor won't blink) forcing me to do a force restart.
I've deleted *all* the prefs, ran fsck a bunch of times, fixed permissions (holy ****e :P took forever, and fixed the permissions for a zillion folders), deleted the app multiple times...I can't think of anything else I could do...I *absolutely* abhor using bitchx/irssi/snak/ircle/mIRC...
