84-pin or 184-pin?

I'm looking to add RAM to my newly purchased G5. According to the manual, you have to use RAM that comes in 84-pin modules. I don't know enough about RAM upgrades to know if this is a typo, or if there is indeed such a thing as pc2700 DDR SDRAM in 84-pin modules. Everything I find online comes in 184-pin modules. If someone could explain this to me, I'd really appreciate it.

Sounds like a typo. I've never heard of an 84-pin DDR DIMM.

Crucial sez: 184-pin PC2700 DDR DIMMs. That assumes you have a 1.6 G5. If you have a 1.8 or higher, you need PC3200.
