I am inheriting 1/3 of an IRA ( fidelity magellan account). the entire account is valued at 34k at the moment.
Any advice on what to do with it? Withdraw my portion and suffer the tax consequences, or leave my share as a fidelity magellan IRA and hope that it goes back up>?
I have a brother that said something about fidelity having "bad paper" and he is taking his out as a disbursement....
All replies are welcome, but I really only want to hear from people who work in the financial field...
