I have a Umax Ultraslim scanner, which I've been using on a PC. I'm new to Macs (just bought a B&W G3) but can't find the software anywhere to get it working. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Can someone point me in the right direction? What is the model number of your scanner? The UMAX support website (http://www.umax.com/support/) does not list "Ultraslim" as a model.

It's this one - http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/scanners/umax-ultraslim.asp but I'm thinking it may have been rebadged as an http://www.google.dealtime.co.uk/xPC-Umax_Astra_Slim, but neither of which appear on the Umax website! I'm confused! I guess I'm looking for some kind fo generic program which would recognise it?

Any ideas?

A*se. Can someone clarify then, if some scanners just incompatable with Mac's? Are there no universal USB scanner drivers. Would it be likely to work in OSX?
