iPod Artist not showing up on iPod

I tried searching for this with no luck. So I copied an album to my iPod and when I search for it through iTunes its there. If I look for the album on my iPod under "Albums" its there. If I search for "songs" from the album, they are all there and all of them play. Same thing with "composers". My problem is that the album doesn't show up in "cover flow", or by "artist" on the iPod. I usually listen to music by going through the Artist function, so I would like for the the album to show up there instead of having to go back through the songs/albums list. Ive looked at the "Get Info" on iTunes and all of the fields are appropriately filled out. Any suggestions as to whats happening.
