Photoshop CS4 question

Will photoshop run smoothly on a entry level aluminum macbook. I wont be dealing with giant files. I will just be doing simple photoshop things for fun. I just want to know if it will run without slowing down the computer.

all i know is cs3 runs pretty well on my first gen mb if tahts any indication

CS4 is more reliant on the gpu than cs3 is. I can't find any benchmarks on cs4 and the new gpu in the MacBooks.

I installed Photoshop CS4 (last alpha beta mind you) last week and it ran fantastically well.

I have the 2.4 GHz with 4 GB of Ram.

Used a decent amount of ram but other than that it runs great.
