View Full Version : Keyboard has less illumination over time?

Anyone's backlight seem less illuminating? I've had my Air since May and this past week it seems much less brighter than usual.

Nothing I can do about it now. I'm in China for a while.

I believe it is fiber optics or LED so no it will not lose glow.

haha the keys are dirty, use some water and vinegar to wipe the oil off the keys

Everything's fine here. Their lights as normal as ever.

Even better since 10.5.5, where they corrected a bug that wouldn't make the keys lit if you protect your machine with a password after sleep -- only after you entered your password.

It should still have apple care call and ask them they have set up stores in China.:apple:

Yeah there's a store in Beijing. I'm in Shenzhen. It's just everything is an ordeal here to get anything done. I can wait until I get home.

I'll try cleaning the keys, although I wipe them regularly when I use the anti dust cloth on the screen.
