So..when are you expecting a Mac Pro update?

Given the warning don't buy, updates soon do you guys have an idea of the time frame for the next update, what it will be include, and how we will benefit? A cheaper price would do...

The only thing I can say with confidence is that the grapgics cards will be updated and they will put the new port on as features in the MBP's so you can hook up their new external monitors.

Are you thinking macworld 2009 or sooner? A design update perhaps?

Since nano's link is messed up, I'll shamelessly point you in the direction of my Nehalem Mac Pros thread. Most of the information that's out there is in it. There hasn't been anything new lately, although I'm liking the rumored EVGA X58 board. I think I'll wait for the 40nm ATI 5 series and Nvidia 3 series to see how they compare when everyone has GDDR5, then buy immediately. My current windows box will be "good enough" in the mean time :p
