View Full Version : Should i still install the MacBook Air update

I got an Air a few days ago and it came with 10.5.4 When i run software update the macbook air update never shows up. However downloading it manually...i can install it if i want.

Should i do this update?...the air works fine with no core shutdowns...although speeds tend to get capped at 1.2GHz instead of the normal 1.8GHz

Install it. You won't notice any decrease in real world performance because it decreases speed when you don't need extra power or when computer is getting hot.
