can someone please post pictures of the griffin iclear with the BLACK iPhone 3g?? and does anybody have a review on the iclear? i have watched morpheus on youtube and some others too. but i would like another perspective. i would really appreciate it. also does anybody know if the iclear will fit with the invisible shield installed? thank you for your help

I've ordered one on its way, it should arrive by Oct 30th, but I have a white iPhone 3G and no skins attached(shields) so I don't know if that will help you.

I have the iClear and a BSE installed. To be honest, it does fit, but it is VERY VERY tight. You really have to jam that thing closed with a lot of force. It does work (although you get a lot of that "watermark" appearance on the back), but again, it's really tight.

As far as how it looks on a black iPhone, sorry, can't help you - I have a white one.

Hi Juiceman,

I was thinking about it. I've used both the invisible shield and BSE, and although I prefer the BSE, my sense is that the invisisble shield may be a tad bit thinner than the BSE (and I could be wrong about that), so it might work a bit better with the iClear than my BSE does. No guarantees, but it may actually work for you.

Now, too bad, it seems IMPOSSIBLE to find this case in a store anywhere to try before you buy....

this is very true! I couldn't find it at any apple stores ATT stores, best buy, or peachmac. wow that's terrible but thanks for the input. my invisible shield should go on today so if I don't like that I may try to throw the iclear on it

Not sure if you've got experience putting on skins, like invisible shield. If you don't and you want some advice, PM me. I've put on TONS of those (on my own phone and for friends and family). I wrote out some long instructions in a different thread here - I think the thread was titled "for those having trouble putting on Zagg...", but if you want some more specific advice, I'd be happy to provide it.
